About

How it started

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Irving, Texas. Brittainye was known for her dancing but also her love for writing and organizing. School was her refuge from family hardships; the more involved in extracurricular activities, the less time she had to spend at home. This thinking prompted her to volunteer as a community Teen Court Attorney, join Business Professionals of America, Student Council, serve as the Reporter for Student Government, the Paralegal Studies Program, serve as Dance Committee President, co-founder of the African American Crew, Journalism club and more!

bigger and better

Brittainye served in a variety of activities including being a student athlete on the basketball and track teams. As a graduate of MacArthur High School (Class of 2004), she was top 10% of her class and Suma Cum Lade with goals of being a successful business owner, Brittainye started her first business at the age of 17! She combined her love for dance and children to create a dance team for children. Through Brittainye's love for creating, she served as choreographer and director of Wise Moves Dance. This team would go on to perform throughout the community, compete in local dance competitions, and through her business skills she acquired a contract with the local recreation centers to teach dance classes where she would later embark on a dance fitness journey and begin teaching adults in addition to owning a marketing firm, event planning, consulting firm, and even a carpet cleaning business and many others.

from homelessness to business

Brittainye used business to overcome homelessness, poverty, childhood trauma and abuse making it her goal to improve her family legacy. While going through a divorce, she chose to audition for the Curvy Queenz of Dallas dance team. Here is where her love of dance and business would once again meet, as she eventually would serve as a board member.

Wise Moves dance

As a professional dancer, Brittainye has been featured in a variety of commercials, music videos, live performances and more! She is a woman of many hats: mother, dancer, choreographer, agent, consultant, and more.
